Information Night

January 19, 2012

National Charity League, Inc. (NCL), the oldest and largest mother-daughter volunteer organization in the nation, will host a Prospective New Member Information Night for women and their daughters who are interested in learning more about and joining NCL Sunnyside Chapter. The meeting will be held on:

January 19th,  7:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Church

The purpose of NCL is to provide opportunities for mothers and daughters to work as volunteers for local nonprofit agencies. NCL also provides leadership training, educational activities and cultural experiences for young girls and their mothers. To be eligible for membership in NCL, daughters must currently be in 6th grade through their junior year (11th grade) of high school.

We are recruiting for our incoming class of 6th graders going to be 7th graders and 7th graders going to be 8th graders in the fall of 2012. We also have openings at all other grade levels. Our membership is mostly made up of girls who attend schools in the North Clackamas School District.
